I need a solar powered pump for a garden fountain. There are many listed online but I’m worried of getting something of exceptionally poor quality. Does anyone have brand names or suppliers to suggest? I’d rather pay a small more and know that it will last a long time.

Most of them are pretty excellent in terms of lasting – but I’ve yet to see a solar powered pump that produces anything more than a paltry weak sprinkle of a fountain. It just takes a lot of energy to go water. Solar lighting is much better. I have a traditionally-powered fountain for my pond, but it’s lit with solar.
