    Aeration (pumping air into your pond with an electric pump or windmill) will help reduce some of the nutrient levels in your pond that the duckweed relies on for its explosive growth. Pond bacteria (such as BactaPur) will also remove the high levels of nutrients in the water.

    place a bag of organic barley straw and will help to clean your pond
