I Want To Set Up A Water Feature In My Front Yard. I Have A Fountain Sans Pump, Would Add A Pond. Help!?

It's a pretty huge corner CSS Fountain. I do not have a bomb. . . yet. I want to use it as a waterfall, and turn it into a pond, but have no thought how to go about this. I am sick and tired of the promises of those around me to help, and if I had the right information I am pretty sure that I could do it myself.
I need to know what supplies they need and how to determine the pump, so the work Way I Am imagine it. I need a soothing sound of water running past me, and also the fact that wild animals in sight. Make a wildlife habitat a small part of that is my job.

Talk to someone at your local hardware store (in the garden center) about the supplies you’ll need. Get a second opinion from another store. Write everything down and look at what seems resonable (so you’re not just buying to spend money).
