I am currently plotting for a pond that will be built this spring/summer. My dad and I had built a ‘pond’ two years ago. It was tiny(200 gallons, maybe), unplanned and we didn’t even bother putting the filter in it. We got some cheap feeder fish and threw them in, and, they survived, until winter came.

I am going to keep some goldfish, probably just sarassas and shubunkins, nothing too fancy. Perhaps a small koi that will be relocated upon growing too large. As for a filter, we have a Laguna Powerjet 2900 Pond Pump(rated for ponds up to 5800US gallons) and a Laguna Powerflomax Underwater Filter Box.
