You can try to open the pump and replace the entire wire. Resealt he pump with silicone or something similar.

get a set of wire splice heat shrink kits like you would use in a water well they are avaiable at Lowes or any plumbing supply house. They are shrinkable by using a lighter

Replace the wire. Remove the pump and run new underwater rated cable long enough to reach to a dry location where you can install a weatherproof junction box. Make the splice to the original wire in the box. Do not attempt any sort of underwater splice or someday you may wake up to cooked koi.

If you can remove the unit from the pond and let it dry out, you could seal the splice with epoxy or silicone, but it would be better to relace the cord at the pump and reseal it or replace the pump.

No under water plugs. You may be able to use a butt splice to connect the wires back together and use shrink tube over the the splice to seal it. I’m not 100% sure if shrink tube is water proof so check it out first before you do it. This would be the simplest fix. You can pick up butt splices and shrink tube at any home depot or lowes.

i would not recomend a underwater splice. it could really mess your day up. my best saggestion is to either replace the pump and wireing or find a way to do the splice where it is dry. you can also go to any home improvement store and buy a can of electrical wheather proofer. it comes in a can that looks like pvc pipe glue. i used it on some out doore wire that is exposed to water all the time and i have had no problems

you cannot have splives under water. You’ll have to replace the pump.
